MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION & APPLICATION

We are a TRAP SHOOTING and 5-STAND club. We are open to the public, but offer membership that has benefits.

  • Annual dues for existing members are $213.25 - this is $200 plus 6.625% NJ Sales Tax of $13.25 Membership is for the CALENDAR year, January 1st to December 31st. Dues are payable BEFORE the first of each year.
  • AFTER 1/1/2025 renewal will be $266.56. This is $200 plus $50 administrative fee for reinstatement, plus 6.625% NJ Sales Tax. Pay your dues by December 31st to avoid a $53.31 penalty.
  • Members save $6.00 per 25 targets ($6 vs. $12). By becoming a member you will save $24 per round of 100 targets.
  • Members are entitled to purchase shells, wads and shot from our target supplier. Purchases are delivered to the club. See someone at the desk for more information.

COST OF TARGETS

TRAP TARGETS

Members pay $6 for 25 targets. Members have an electronic card that targets can be loaded to. This card is used in conjunction with the card readers at each field (see next section on how to use the card readers). Cards hold a MAXIMUM of 500 targets ($120) so when you purchase more targets the range manager will check your card and tell you how many targets are on it. So, for example, if you card has 200 targets on it you will be allowed to add an additional 300 targets ($72). Your card is the only record of how many targets you have so please take care not to lose it.

LOST CARD = LOST TARGETS!

Non-Members pay $12 per 25 targets and may purchase up to a maximum of 200 targets at a time. There is a $1 daily fee as well as a $20 deposit on the card which will be refunded at the end of the day when you return the card to the Range Manager.

USING THE CARD READER

  • When a squad is ready to begin a round each shooter holds his/her card up to the reader and presses the number 1. You will notice that the number of targets on your card is reduced by 25 while the number of targets to be thrown in the round is increased by 25.
  • Each shooter repeats this process until all shooters (maximum of 5) are entered.
  • The last person to swipe in removes his/her card after pressing 1 and then with the card NOT in front of the reader presses 1 a second time. You will now see the number of shooters and the number of targets that will be thrown. The last step is to activate the microphones. If after pressing 1 the second time someone wants to join the squad (and there are 4 or less shooters) they simply swipe their card and then press the number 1 and press number 1 a second time (after taking their card down).
  • Usually, the squad leader, the person who is in Position 1, presses the YELLOW button on the remote that is usually found on the score keepers chair. Pressing the yellow button turns on the microphones.

You can check how many targets remain on your card by simply holding the card up to any of the four readers. When you put your card up to the reader it will display the number or remaining targets. Please note: while a squad is shooting do not check how many targets remain on your card as this will interrupt the play of the active squad. Wait until the current round of shooting is over and then check your target count.

MEMBERSHIP FEE SCHEDULE
FOR NEW MEMBERS

  • The initiation fee is $50 regardless of the month you join as the amount of administrative work is the same.
  • Tax is calculated at the NJ State rate of 6.625%.

Here is an example for a new member joining in the month of March:

  • Dues equal $200/12 months times the number of remaining months which is 9. Dues = $166.66
  • Initiation Fee is $50 regardless of the month you join. Initiation = $50
  • Taxes are 6.625% of Dues + Initiation Fee ($166.66 + $50 = $216.66). Tax = $14.35
  • Total amount due for a new member joining in March would be $166.66 + $50 + $14.35 = $231.01
